Unique Dining has announced it will open its second restaurant, Crockers Henley, in the popular Oxfordshire town of Henley-on-Thames in spring 2020. The site, a Grade II listed building, benefits from a prominent position on the town’s busy Market Place and will be part of the much anticipated Gardiner Place: a multi-million pound retail, leisure and residential development.
Crockers Henley will operate two chefs tables, each offering a fine dining tasting menu, alongside a 60-cover social dining space which will focus on small plates and sharing dishes. A cocktail bar and seven en suite bedrooms will complete the new venture.
Chief Executive, Luke Garnsworthy, commented: “We’re incredibly excited about our new home! Crockers Henley will build on the successful ‘Chef’s Table’ concept we created and refined at our first restaurant in Tring.”
Crockers Henley will introduce a number of new experiences that will deliver a unique and relaxed blend of hospitality to one of the UK’s most sought after riverside locations, as well as stimulating the local food and beverage economy.
Unique Dining’s Operations Director, Ian Churchill went on to say: ”Unique Dining is a people company and our team members are at the heart of what we do. We plan to create around 50 jobs at the Henley site, and we’ll be looking for the very best talent the hospitality industry has to offer. While we may be small, we offer some amazing benefits, highly competitive salaries and a genuine opportunity to develop your career as the company grows.”
